Intimate Cremation Service & Direct Cremation

Suitable for families who wish to farewell & view their loved one in a private, relaxed & dignified manor without a formal service involving an officiant or celebrant.
You may spend this time with up to 15 close family & friends sharing memories with your loved one present in the peaceful surrounds of our Mayfair chapel.
Intimate Funeral Service Inclusions
- Transfer of your loved one into our care within 40km from Perth CBD, within business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm).
- The careful planning, arrangement & co-ordination of your loved one’s farewell.
- Accomodation for your loved in our funeral home up to 7 days.
- Open or closed casket during funeral service. (family must have selected additional mortuary care).
- Selection of 3 included premium coffins (upgrades to caskets available).
- A small, private 1hr gathering to farewell your loved one for up to 15 close family & friends.
- Elegant and Modern Mayfair Funeral Home Chapel.
- Candle-lighting ceremony for family members during the service.
- Fresh floral casket spray, in addition to fresh Rosemary sprigs to be left with your loved one in remembrance.
- Mayfair Funerals will provide light chapel music or music of your choice to be played in the background with
- Photographic Slideshow or a fixed image of your loved one on our chapel screen.
- Hearse with Funeral Conductor transport to the Crematorium.
- Cremation to take place at Pinnaroo Cemetery on a day & time at the discretion of Mayfair Funerals
- Your loved one’s ashes can be collected from Pinnaroo, Karrakatta, Fremantle or Rockingham Cemetery.
- MCB cremation fees and legal permits.
- Registration of death & Certified copy of Death Certificate to be collected from Mayfair Funerals.
Additional services for a dignified farewell
- Upgrade of Coffin (at cost).
- Additional or upgraded Flowers (at cost).
- Dignified Mortuary Care & Preparation with full dress $750.
- 6-seater limousine to collect and return the mourning family. ($750)
- Viewing of your loved at Mayfair, 1hr, Mon to Fri in business hrs $495. (Mortuary Care must be selected for this option).

- After-Hours Mortuary Transfer: $495
- Medical Practitioner Fees: At Cost
- Pacemaker Removal: $195 - not charged if mortuary care and body presentation has been selected
- Oversize Coffin: $695

- Printed service stationary.
- Celebrant or Religious officiant.

- Full Payment must be made within 24hrs from invoicing.
- Please note that failure to make payment may result in your loved one's cremation and intimate funeral service being postponed.
Important Small Funeral Services - Family Led Information
Important Note on Attendance:
- This Intimate Chapel Service & Direct Cremation option ($4,995) is specifically designed for a very private gathering of up to 15 family members only. If you anticipate more than 15 attendees, a full funeral service price of $7,990 will apply. We are happy to discuss our other service options to accommodate a larger gathering.
Important Note on Open Casket Viewing:
- Closed Casket Service: If you choose a closed casket, mortuary care is not required, and there is no additional fee.
- Open Casket Viewing: If you wish to have an open casket, mortuary care and body preparation are required. This includes full dressing and body preparation for a fee of $750. Please provide the clothing you wish your loved one to be dressed in.

- A Family-Led Farewell: This service is designed to be naturally led by your family, allowing for a truly personal and heartfelt tribute without the need for a formal presenter. Our funeral director and dedicated staff will be present throughout to respectfully assist where required, whether it's guiding the candle lighting, helping with the placement of floral tributes, ensuring the smooth playing of the photo video tribute, or pallbearing the casket to the hearse.
- A Gentle Gathering: Up to one hour within our Chapel for a small, intimate service, allowing for eulogies, candle lighting, moments of reflection (such as rosemary placement), and a dignified committal.
- Beautiful Floral Casket Flowers: Adorn your service with a floral casket floral decoration, thoughtfully chosen to reflect natural beauty and peace.
- A Premium Casket of Choice: Select from our elegant range of premium caskets in Sapele, Rosewood, or Oak, ensuring a dignified final resting place.
- Personalised Open Casket Option: Should you wish, the casket can be open for the entire service or for a specific part, allowing for a personal farewell. Please note, if you choose an open casket, mortuary care and body preparation are required (details below).
- Share Your Heart: We warmly invite family members to share a reading, poem, or their own heartfelt words during the service, making it truly personal.
- Seamless Set-Up: Our Mayfair staff will respectfully pre-place the casket inside our Chapel before your arrival, ensuring a calm and ready environment.
- Soothing Sounds: Hymns and music will be played throughout the funeral service, creating a comforting atmosphere.
- Final Floral Tributes: Family members are welcome to place their own floral tributes upon the coffin at the time of reflection.
- Digital Tributes:
- A personalised digital image of your loved one will be displayed on the screen during the service.
- Mayfair will thoughtfully create a digital photo video tribute to be played, weaving together cherished memories. (Please supply images on a USB).
